A plan, not a guess

Every student starts from a different place, so every plan starts with a diagnostic. From there we map the weeks to test day, teach the skills that move the score most, and measure progress with full practice tests and a clear report after each one. You always know where your child stands and what comes next.

The chart shows how this can look for one student preparing for the digital SAT: a starting score, steady practice-test results and a goal for test day. Every student’s path is different, and we never promise a score.

  2. Plan

A week-by-week plan built around the goal score and test date.

  3. Teach

Expert lessons focused on the skills that move the score most.

  4. Practice

Full practice tests with real timing, format and pressure.

  5. Report

Every plan is built for one student

No two students start from the same place. After the diagnostic, we build the plan around five things, and adjust it after every practice test.

  • Starting point
  • Goal score
  • Test date
  • Schedule
  • Language needs

Materials for their plan

Lessons, worksheets and practice tests chosen for your child’s test and plan.

Test-day practice

Practice in the format of the real exam, so the timing and question types feel familiar.

Feedback made for your child

After every practice test: scores by section, the skills behind each mistake, and the next three priorities.

We start from what your child already knows

Most courses teach first and test later. Flipped learning turns that around. Your child practices first, and we use their prior knowledge and strengths to deepen what they’re learning now. After each lesson, our team analyzes the results and writes new material, so every step becomes a platform for the next.

There are no groups. Every student’s work is individual, built for their needs and their own learning journey.

Flipped learning

Learning that starts from what a student already knows and does well.

Sample worksheet problem

Syrup and water are mixed in the ratio 3:16. How many cups of syrup are needed for 2 gallons of water?

4 cups = 1 quart; 4 quarts = 1 gallon

Answer 1½

Correct answer 6 cups

Next practice problem

Juice concentrate and water are mixed in the ratio 1:5. How many cups of concentrate are needed for 6 gallons of finished juice?

We go beyond correct or incorrect

Results come back after a worksheet or practice test.

An example from a worksheet

1½ Incorrect

But it shows how much the student already knows.

We find their strengths first

  • Read the ratio: 3 to 16
  • Converted: 2 gallons = 8 quarts

Most courses explain first and test later. Flipped learning turns that around: students work on their own first, at their own pace.

Their answers show us what they already know, and what’s still missing.

We use that prior knowledge and those strengths to deepen what they’re learning now, and as a platform for what comes next.

After a worksheet or practice test, students get their results back. We go beyond correct or incorrect.

Here’s an example from a worksheet. Take a look. The answer is incorrect. But it shows how much the student already knows. See for yourself.

Ratio? Right. Conversion? Right. Calculation? Also right. These are strengths we can build on.

One point five what? Quarts. The question asked for cups. That’s the knowledge gap.

That’s flipped learning in action: a lesson and worksheet that use those strengths to close that gap, at your child’s own pace.

After each lesson, the Global Test Prep Solutions team analyzes the results: what’s now solid, and what still needs work.

Then we write new material that builds on what they already know and moves them forward. No groups. Just your child’s own journey, step by step.

You always know where things stand

After every diagnostic and practice test, parents receive a clear written report: the score by section, what improved, what to work on next and the plan to the test date.

Reports are written in plain language, so parents and students read the same thing and agree on the next step together.

FAQs

The diagnostic and the plan

Is the diagnostic really free?

Yes. It is a full practice test with a short report and a conversation about next steps. No obligation.

What happens after the diagnostic?

We build a week-by-week plan around your child’s starting point, goal score, test date and schedule. The plan is adjusted after every practice test, so the work always goes where it moves the score most.

How long does preparation take?

Most students need 8–16 weeks, depending on the starting point and the goal. The plan sets this out week by week.

Do you guarantee a score?

No. We guarantee the plan, the teaching and the effort to get each student as far as they can go.

Will my child work in a group?

No. Every student’s work is individual, built for their needs and their own learning journey.

Choosing a test

Which tests do you prepare students for?

University and graduate admissions tests (the digital SAT, ACT, GMAT and GRE), school entrance and placement tests (SSAT, ISEE, CAT4, MAP Growth, UKiset and the ISEB Common Pre-Test), and IGCSE and IB Diploma exams in all subjects.

SAT or ACT: which should my child take?

The diagnostic helps decide. Many students sit both practice tests and choose the one where they score higher.

We’re moving abroad. Which test does my child need?

It depends on the country and the school: many independent and boarding schools in the US and Canada ask for the SSAT or ISEE, many international schools use CAT4 or MAP Growth, and many UK schools use UKiset or the ISEB Common Pre-Test. Requirements vary by school, so check each school’s admissions page, or ask us after the diagnostic.

Can you help with IGCSE and IB Diploma exams?

Yes, in every subject, with revision and exam technique.

What about the GMAT and GRE?

Courses for master’s, MBA and specialization programs run in blocks of weeks or months, sized to each candidate’s starting point and goal, around work and study.

Lessons and reports

How are lessons taught?

All work is online and individual. Every student follows their own plan, with lessons, worksheets and videos built from their own answers, and guidance from their tutor. There are no group classes.

Which languages?

All lessons are in English.

What materials will my child use?

Lessons, worksheets and practice tests chosen for your child’s test and plan, written to match the format of the real exam.

What will I hear from you as a parent?

After the diagnostic and every practice test you receive a written report in plain language: the score by section, what improved, what to work on next and the plan to the test date.

Can parents monitor progress?

Yes. Parents get access to their child’s individual portfolio on Global Test Prep Solutions and receive weekly updates on the lessons, practice sessions and mock exams their child has completed.
